Apk is not installing to an emulator

I faced a problem during debugging of an android application on Windows with Eclipse as for IDE. The built apk file of my application was not installed to a target emulator. It was very frustrating and interfered my development very much. After several days of suffering (when I rebooted my PC, Eclipse, emulators, dropped and created new emulators, killed adb.exe process), finally I found a magic button named “Reset adb” at the the Device view of DDMS perspective which fixed the problem.
